Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you serve in Minnesota?

We serve the I-94 corridor from St. Cloud and Sartell through Clearwater, Becker, Monticello, Elk River, Anoka, and into the northwest Twin Cities metro including Maple Grove. Contact us to confirm service availability for your specific location.

What is an ISA Certified Arborist?

An ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist is a professional who has demonstrated knowledge and competency in all aspects of tree care through a rigorous certification process. Our lead arborist, Waylon Lohne, holds ISA Certification SO-6647AU and is also a Certified Utility Arborist.

How do I know if my ash trees need EAB treatment?

Signs of emerald ash borer infestation include thinning canopy, D-shaped exit holes in bark, increased woodpecker activity, and S-shaped larval galleries under the bark. If your ash trees are in our service area, we recommend a professional inspection even before symptoms appear, as early treatment is far more effective.

What is the best time to remove buckthorn?

Buckthorn can be removed year-round, but fall and winter are often ideal because the plant is easily identifiable (it holds its green leaves longer than native species) and the frozen ground minimizes soil disturbance. We create customized management plans based on your property and timeline.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes, we offer free initial consultations for most residential and commercial projects. Contact us to schedule a site visit with our ISA Certified Arborist.
